Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second part of the three-part "Final Fantasy VII remake project", whose goal is to remake the 1997 RPG Final Fantasy VII. The game follows Final Fantasy VII Remake and is the second of three parts, set to be released next winter for the PlayStation 5. The story continues from Cloud and his party after taking down the Shinra corporation and defeating Sephiroth. However, an alteration with the timeline has caused a deceased figure to resurrect.
